Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Chillgames (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects when you use the chillgames.net website or any game published by Chillgames — including games hosted on chillgames.net and native mobile games distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other app marketplaces. It also describes how we use that information and the choices you have. By using our website or games, you agree to the practices described below.
Effective date: May 10, 2026
1. Information We Collect
Account information
You can use most of chillgames.net without an account. If you choose to register, we collect the username, email address, and password you provide. We use this information to manage your account and personalize your experience.
Analytics data
We use PostHog to understand how players interact with our site and games. PostHog collects:
- Pages visited and buttons clicked
- Gameplay events (for example, game start and level completion)
- Device type, operating system, and browser
- IP address (used to derive approximate location)
- Session recordings and heatmaps of site usage
- A pseudonymous identifier used to link events from the same session or user. In our native mobile games this is a per-install player UUID generated locally on your device the first time you launch the game; it is not your IDFA, your Apple ID, or any cross-app identifier, and it is reset if you delete and reinstall the game.
We use this information only to improve our games, fix bugs, and improve your experience.
Advertising data
When ads are shown in our games, our advertising partner (see Section 5) may collect device and ad-interaction information. See Section 3 for details.
Purchase data
When you make an in-app purchase in one of our mobile games, the platform processes that transaction. See Section 4 for details.
2. Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and local storage to:
- Save your game progress and preferences
- Keep you signed in
- Collect analytics through PostHog
- Serve and measure advertisements
Some of these are strictly necessary for the site to work. Others (analytics and advertising) are optional but help us improve the site and keep it free.
We do not currently provide an in-product cookie preference center. You can disable cookies or clear local storage in your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized advertising using the controls described in Section 3.
3. Advertisements
Some of our native mobile games display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob is used only inside those mobile apps; the chillgames.net website does not currently show third-party advertising. AdMob uses device identifiers and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, and — where you have consented or where personalization is permitted — show you more relevant ads.
Information AdMob may collect or process includes:
- Device information (device type, operating system, app version)
- IP address and approximate location
- Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS — collected and shared with AdMob for ad personalization only if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline ATT, IDFA is not collected and you will see non-personalized ads instead.
- Google’s Advertising ID (AAID) on Android — used for ad serving and measurement, subject to your Android Ads settings.
- Interactions with ads shown in the game
We do not share account information with AdMob, and we do not build advertising profiles of our users ourselves. Ad serving and any personalization are handled by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
You have several ways to control advertising:
- iOS — Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you allow or deny tracking on a per-app basis. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If tracking is denied, no IDFA is collected.
- Android — You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- EU/EEA and UK — Google’s consent management will request your consent before personalized ads are shown.
- Across the web — You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google’s Ads Settings.
When you install a Chillgames mobile game, the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and the underlying mobile operating system also collect information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
4. Purchases
Some of our mobile games offer in-app purchases. These transactions are processed by the platform you bought them on:
- Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit) on iOS and iPadOS
- Google Play Billing on Android
When you make a purchase, the platform shares with us only the information needed to deliver and validate the purchase — typically a transaction receipt or token, the product identifier, and a pseudonymous transaction ID. We do not receive your full name, billing address, or payment card details. Those are handled directly by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies.
We use this information to grant entitlements (such as removing ads or unlocking content), restore previous purchases, and prevent fraud. Refund requests for App Store and Google Play purchases must be made through Apple or Google directly, in accordance with their refund policies.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party services to operate the chillgames.net website and our games:
- PostHog — Product analytics and session replay. PostHog processes data such as your IP address, device details, and interactions with the site or game. See PostHog’s Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob — Advertising in our native mobile games. AdMob processes mobile advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android), IP address, and ad interaction data. See Google’s Privacy & Terms and the AdMob data disclosure.
- Apple App Store and Apple In-App Purchase — Distribution of our iOS games and processing of in-app purchases. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Play and Google Play Billing — Distribution of our Android games and processing of in-app purchases. See Google’s Privacy & Terms.
These providers process information on our behalf or as independent controllers in accordance with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or services linked from chillgames.net.
6. How We Use Your Information

- Display and measure advertisements

7. Data Retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Analytics data is retained according to PostHog’s default retention policies. Advertising data is retained by Google according to its policies. Purchase records (transaction receipts and entitlement state) are retained for as long as needed to honor your entitlements and to meet tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove account information from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or security reasons.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK) or CCPA (California), including:
- The right to access the personal information we hold about you
- The right to correct inaccurate information

9. Children’s Privacy
chillgames.net and our games are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some games may contain language or cartoon-style violence that is not appropriate for all ages, and we encourage parents and guardians to review content before allowing children to play.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at ben@chillgames.net and we will delete it.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Account passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Users
chillgames.net is operated from outside the EU/EEA. By using the site or our games, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Effective date” above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
13. Contact
